The Opening of Mind Life holds a certain vitality, a
flux of energy, and a movement of power.
Creation holds unlimited radiance and a crystallizing energy. In our ever-changing
environment, boundaries and barriers meet, merge, mix, and combine. At first glance, our
experiential world seems a random assortment of happenstance and chance,
but peering deeper into this seemingly abstract world reveals pattern
and structure. Order
emerges from the apparent chaos as the human mind learns and
understands. My art attempts to capture fluid,
dynamic forces as they ripple across the fabric of existence. My art focuses on freezing for a
split-second that turbulent, churning playground of opposing forces,
capturing a thin slice of existence that momentarily disappears and is
gone forever. I wish to
convey, capture, and crystallize the complex, vibrant world of human
existence that envelops emotions, thoughts, desires, and intelligence. My art is about growth,
expansion, and exuberance. It
is about the opening of minds.
The human
mind, embodying thoughts, wishes, and memories, pulses with vigor; in
this dream-like kingdom, ideas freely flow. With my images, I wish to expand
the viewer's mind, transferring and conveying a vision that broadens
one's horizons. For me, the
fluid, dynamic nature of abstract color realms helps to convey the
hidden majesty and wonder that exists in our universe and in human life. Even in my art, outward expressions of my inward desires
merge with the viewer’s own understanding to form a new, complex realm
of meaning.
